EMU Men's Golf - Spring Training Trip 2019
EMU Men's Golf is excited to announce that we will be traveling to West Palm Beach, FL this February 24-27, 2019 for our annual spring training trip. We will be playing the beautiful courses of Santa Lucia River Club and Coral Ridge Country Club. As many of you know, these brutal Midwest Winters limit our opportunities for practicing on real grass and puts our team at the mercy of mother nature for the number of rounds we are able to play. With your generous support, the team will be able to travel down to the sunshine state to play two amazing courses and get the necessary practice we need to prepare us for our first stroke play event in Hilton Head, SC.
Currently, the team is practicing at our Bubble on campus, Miles of Golf, and Fox Hills Performance Center. We are extremely lucky to have these great practice facilities; however, nothing can quite simulate playing golf on real turf. The team is extremely excited about this trip, and we hope you are just as excited for us! Thank you so much for your support, it means more than you know.
Any donations past our $5,000 goal will go into the team budget for additional gear and equipment that the team needs. We will be posting updates and pictures for you to follow along, stay tuned!
