Our Crowdfunding Groups
For over 125 years, the “Pride of the Peninsula,” The EMU Marching Band, has been a cherished organization dedicated to spreading pride and spirit throughout the campus of Eastern Michigan University and the Ypsilanti community.
As ambassadors of EMU, we believe it is our responsibility to attract student members that reflect the vibrancy and diversity of our community. In striving to better represent the population of our University, we seek to create an endowed scholarship to specifically recruit and retain students of color. This new scholarship will uniquely position the EMU Marching Band to invest in BIPOC students and their collegiate experience, while simultaneously enhancing the community-driven mission of our entire organization.
