The Interior Design Program at EMU is creating a fund to offer scholarships to upper-level students, who seek various certifications. Scholarships will be awarded in January of 2023. They would apply to the fund indicating what exam they intend to apply/complete (e.g., part of the NCIDQ, WELL, LEED, NKBA). This will give students a head-start with credential development as they aim for graduation. Test application fees range from $200-$800.
We have much to celebrate here at EMU and we look forward to supporting our talented students as they progress towards graduation and enter into the workplace. For the third year in a row, EMU IDE students won the top three spots in the national CET student rendering awards! Below are the renderings along with a bio of a current student who is on their path to success. We are immensely proud of our IDE students and we are excited at where we are headed.

“I chose EMU because it effectively combines the technological side of interior design with the analytical. What I adore about designing is the ability you have to create an experience through your creativity and wit. Having professors that are just as passionate as I am about design, motivates me to do my best every semester.”
